i have 2009 mbp 15 inch (not unibody). have put mbp through it's paces i'm not sure has happened. battery has been bad (for quite time) run in "desktop mode" (always plugged in) wife , went home xmas , on way computer died. when home plug in start , nothing. no start chime, no initializing of hard drive, fans, nothing. power cord when plugged in shows charging turns green. i've tried charging few days , starting (nothing starts). i've tried removing battery , trying start ( again nothing). i'm not sure else can diagnose problem. appreciate advice or tips on might be.   if battery dead, might try leaving comp plugged in while - 1 hour, depress start button holding down 10 seconds , release - wait see if boots up.   Forums Macs

hi all, i'm totally stuck here. didn't use mid 2010 mbp (i7, 2.66 15", mavericks) 1 month while travelling , coming home wouldn't start up. battery stayed full during these 4 weeks of not using it. gets powered up, doesn't boot. fans start, no chime , screen stays black, front light goes on (first 1 second, dim). usb ports give power: connected superdrive try boot osx-dvd. , after 25 seconds turns off. different behaviour magsafe (the correct 85watt) connected: when connect magsafe automatically starts without me pushing power button. after trying 25 seconds mbp turns off , restarts. endless loop this. tried booting without ram, gave me expected beeps. tried 2 ram modules separately , switching them in slots, no solution. -> ram = ok? tried resetting smc , pram, didn't cure it. booting without hd doesn't work: doesn't want begin turning on. can't startup safe mode of hardware test, because

hello all, i've got serious issue here mail. i'm @ wits end , cannot figure out what's going on. alright started spotlight search through isp provided email (exchange). never found wanted didn't think of it. fast forward next morning , emails day way august of 2014 deleted server. checked isp's webmail , sure enough gone. @ point thought sure isp issue contacted them , had no idea going on; servers working , nothing on end have caused this. lucky me have backup, loaded backup , normal again........until next day. more emails deleted, until march 14 time. have not messed around of settings, has been ways it's been. started spotlight search. know long shot know going on, if can figure out awesome. if not please!! need suggestions replacement! cannot log on isp webmail time, it's blast 90's on there appreciated! edit: should add i'm on mid-14 mbp yosemite 10.10.1  

hey all, tonight wanted laundry done while wife out. have 2 blankets use on couch haven't been washed in while, through in machine wash. i'll preface saying they're not heavy, , both in there machine half full. halfway through during wash cycle, starts making ungodly banging noise. ran on stop it. reached in, , lo , behind blankets weigh million pounds they're wet. take both out make sure weight issue. machine starts again fine , normal. try putting in each blanket separately once starts spinning starts clanking crazy , rocking violently. @ point, 1 blanket in sink , other sitting in machine. i've stopped trying wash them wet blanket me in less trouble broken machine. can do? seems can't wash either blanket because sounds break machine. advice on how either them not kill machine, or how suckers clean? theres way water in them through them in dryer. not sure do!
