Set ACL on Applications Directory to Everyone Deny Delete

i removed acl on /applications directory running
code:
chmod -n /applications
when trying xampp server running , displaying default web page. fixed issue displaying default web page , need change acl on /applications directory deny delete can lock system down. have read man page chmod having no luck setting it. may simple newbie when comes acls on directories , files , assistance this. suggestions or links can further assistance setting acls on directories , files?
 

who owner of /applications, if it's root need sudo make changes folder. also, problem not remember previous settings, or you're unable make changes? use +a option chmod if want add acls.

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
