Yosemite Boot screen Freeze

after installing yosimeti , during reboot progress bar freezes midway..

i'v restarted , did same thing.. me please....

thank you!
 

same issue after completing yosemite install last night. able os x after initial install. rebooted progress bar loads 1/3 of way , nothing else happens. able boot safe mode once doesn't work now.

did check disk , no issues found. read threads talking repairing permissions disk utility option greyed out.

note bootcamp , windows loads fine. happened yosemite install.

ideas before try reinstall of mavericks via internet recovery , have upgrade yosemite again?

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
