My first few hours on Mac Mini 2014: pls help

my mac mini (my first mac!) arrived today. powered on , crashed during set (i got rainbow wheel not go away), not start! crashed while setting keychain, there else set after that? forced power off , after restart mini went straight desktop instead of going through set again.

tried download software use not find mac version of keepass http://keepass.info/ knows download it?

display: using dell u2412m, windows laptop crisp, mac mini appears pixelated, knows how fix this? bought photography not ideal.

other have first impression of mac os positive , mini fast despite traditional hdd.

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
