How to find out if my OS is faulty?

so, kept mavericks installer on external drive in case i'd make fresh install without waiting slow internet download whole 6 (?) gb's again, , made bootable usb that.

when classic mac pro went seller repair time ago, asked me if install me version of mavericks before sending back, because version of mavericks doesn't seem work properly.

i'm wondering, wrong it? i've made bootable installer step step , same on several sites.

there way check that? "apple software test" of kind? i'm going reinstall , make sure correctly.

Error installing Key Agent drivers in Windows 7

i reinstalled fresh bootcamp (windows 7 x64) on imac running yosemite. i'm having difficulty installing drivers, had first bypass issue x64bit drivers running through cmd admin errors "service 'key agent/mac hal' (keyagent/machaldrivers) failed start. verify have sufficient privileges start system services." have tried following instructions seemed answer this: i had exact same problem, on 17" mbp. in case, win7 event manager reported bootcamp 3.2 services failed install, in particular keyagent service (and without no apple keyboard , functions , apparently bootcamp icon doesn't show in system tray). event manager said bootcamp installer did not have sufficient permissions, went dial down user account control (uac) settings (in fact, turned off). should have seen when bootcamp 3.2 update running window ask permission continue (allow software install). instead, there silent failure. ok, turning off uac gives p
