iPad iPad 3, Dead after update. Restore does not solve

i have ipad 3 (64gb) 2 years old , in mint condition. worked fine til installed ios update, in july (i believe 7 or 7.1) after installing update ipad started going wacko! started shut down , reboot itself, continually. not figure out reason reboot did @ different times, while using different apps , when not in use. able use still, in beginning because few hours of usage before shut off. yea frustrating in middle of , bam black screen, apple logo. contacted apple support through chat issue , suggested soft reboot (home/power button reset) first. had done few times suggested factory restore, leave @ factory settings few days before restoring backup see if app or had stored on there. tech walked me through steps, make sure restored , there no issues. first restore went fine, recovered ipad , restored factory settings. well. disconnect tech , go on using useless without data ipad hour before went poof! rebooting. not hours of use, minutes of use. i'd long enough turn on, tap app, load app , bam, off again. contacted support again because restore did not help, made worse seems, , suggested recovery again. said should recovery multiple times because needs done?! really???? anyway, did.... , each time did restore, shorter duration became between reboots. until got point not boot sat there in continually reboot, seen apple logo, flash of home screen , logo. said screw , left night , when woke up, tried turn on had "connect itunes" logo! wth happened?!?!? since had been doing recovery on windows pc decided take friend , uses mac see if maybe pc. not figure out going on , point ipad not able process full recovery. stop way through , give error code. looked each code, fixed said problem , tried again. still no luck. majority of codes stated usb connection. after hours of frustration, it's don't when cant fix they? lol anyway, made appointment genius bar next day, went there , told not 2 year old (at time) ipad 3 in mint condition, cost me grand unfix able. freaking kidding me! worked til ios update needless pretty irate. tell me $300 give me replacement since out of warranty. that's it? that's all? pay grand , not 2 years later have pay $300 refurb absolutely no explanation why?!?! refuse believe cannot fixed, or "just happens" sometimes. hesitant apple product when , family own iphone , ipad. have iphone 4s, have dropped many times, had 4-5 new housing put on, sitting crack @ top of screen can see ear speaker , yet still works. didn't carry ipad around me phone , took special care of because hefty investment me cannot justify why broken crap phone still works ipad not. have had ipad sitting in box since july , decided take out other day , give shot. surprise recovered! not on first attempt, security settings, after adjusting did recover ipad. excited, itunes said recovered , ipad turned on brand new. went through setup process, opened safari , stated goggling, shot down yet again when poofed! after 10 minutes. did not reboot time, screen went black , had reset (home/power) did not reboot, sat stuck on apple logo, tried home/power reset again , got connect itunes logo. since refuse believe dead, why recover if was? tried recovery process again , got error code not find on apple site determine was. tried again 3 times on 3rd attempt odd happened , while itunes trying communicate ipad, ipad came apple logo , mumbo jumbo on bottom of screen. never had seen before. bunch of alphanumeric coding , kernel panic, debugging, communicating , threads. don't know don't understand how can take out of box, after 4 months of sitting off, restore/recover, , this?!?!? oh, when did restore time used comp has never had itunes installed on it. fresh , no chance of corrupt files on pc. use on problem ipad. have done numerous searches on subject come short of answers. see common problem however, of time restore solved problem , in case making problem worse. if apple going put out updates corrupt our equipment not buying apple product ever again! husband, son , have iphone work fine, sons being 3gs pretty ancient, , has ipad mini, still works fine. how can ipad, 1 taken care of @ that, 1 have "just happen"? continue told 2 years life expectancy of these devices.... call bs. other devices fine. don't think apple wants take responsibility faulty equipment! so.... please, anyone?!?!?!?!?

 

try different apple store. polite. polite. explain know it's out of warranty, you're hoping can hook diagnostics , maybe determine if there's hardware issue.

also, please try using paragraph breaks, make easier follow whole story. puzzle out, sounds 1 of ios 7 updates trouble began, maybe going apple , asking genius bar run diagnostics , maybe ios 8 update start.

of course, entirely possible it's hardware issue, in case it's out of warranty , replacement @ discretion of genius bar. why emphasized being super polite, explaining know can't if try take you'd grateful, might work.
