Applications automatically pinning themselves to dock?

this has been bugging me ever since got first mac in 2011: applications automatically toggle "keep in dock" setting themselves. suspect happens applications use often, i'm not sure , can't consistently happen.

use dock running applications, not application launcher (that's spotlight for!). want applications leave dock when close them.

has else noticed this, , there way prevent happening?
 

after digging, couldn't find sort of system-wide setting disables applications automatically being added dock. in time, i've noticed majority of apps not add automatically, couple. not believe apps use automatically add themselves, different per each application.

unfortunately, looks you'll have go through each 1 individually , remove them. however, once make change, shouldn't have again. luckily isn't difficult change, can understand how annoying. have open applications in dock, too.

Error installing Key Agent drivers in Windows 7

i reinstalled fresh bootcamp (windows 7 x64) on imac running yosemite. i'm having difficulty installing drivers, had first bypass issue x64bit drivers running through cmd admin errors "service 'key agent/mac hal' (keyagent/machaldrivers) failed start. verify have sufficient privileges start system services." have tried following instructions seemed answer this: i had exact same problem, on 17" mbp. in case, win7 event manager reported bootcamp 3.2 services failed install, in particular keyagent service (and without no apple keyboard , functions , apparently bootcamp icon doesn't show in system tray). event manager said bootcamp installer did not have sufficient permissions, went dial down user account control (uac) settings (in fact, turned off). should have seen when bootcamp 3.2 update running window ask permission continue (allow software install). instead, there silent failure. ok, turning off uac gives p
