Retina macbook battery replacement or sell

the battery of macbook getting close 1000 cycles (825)
(2012 macbook pro retina 15", 2.6ghz i7, 16gb ram, 1gb graphics, 3000 euros/3700 dollars)

cost replace battery (600 euros/750 dollars)

apple's recycling program macbook give me (800 euros/1000 dollars).
or sell someone, considering battery cycles don't know whether idea or price should ask

have experience or recommend?

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
