Preview or other app for RAPID photo cropping and auto-enhancing?

on windows pc @ work use built-in photo viewer application open single photo, crop it, , auto-enhance brightness/contrast. can hit right , left keys move next photo in open folder, such currently-selected file open @ given time.

in preview on mac, have select photos want work , open them @ once. i'm trying crop , enhance 100 large photos , preview crashing on mac running os x yosemite 10.10.1. cutting selection down ten simultaneous photos causes problems preview.

can use preview mimic windows workflow super basic photo editing? there better third-party application achieve this? should emphasize i'm looking save time , spend ten seconds on each photo rather meticulously work on each one, taking time close every photo , open following one.

is 1 time thing? if exposure adjustments same (ie shots same amount of under exposure etc) adjust 1 photo in lightroom , apply same alterations other 99.
can download free 30 day trial. has auto button, photographer i'd not recommend type of 10 second workflow.

Stopping MP4 files

i started using mac parallels. in order able surf web safer use mac side. problem i'm having 1 newspaper read has mp4 screen goes off whenever seen on screen. mozilla on windows had flashblocker since mac doesn't use flash there no blocking either safari or mozilla. can tell such things download , deny download. there way stop this? i've read here using mac safari or mozilla no means way ensure wacky things don't browser. wackiness contained more browser mac opposed windows gets whole system?   i guess answer can't. enough drive me windows side of browsing. every time frame come view on page news report starts blaring or have no downloading. here's business opportunity someone- create first quicktime or mp4 or whatever auto-starting blocker.   Forums Macs ...

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
