Advice on ram or ssd please!

i own late 2011 macbook pro 500gb hhd, 4gb ram , 2.4 ghz i5. don't know computers know mac performing do. browse internet lot, use itunes , spotify , that's , seems if it's freezing , stuttering. can't decide if should upgrade ram or upgrade ssd appreciated.

in activity monitor usage follows -

if need more info i'll provide! y'all think should do? looking!
 

based on low swap amount, i'd suggest ssd.

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
