Another HDD fan problem,,Mid 2010

i have second imac here decided upgrade. mid 2010 27". took out optical drive , replaced ssd. peeled small sensor stuck on superdrive , stuck on ssd , left 1tb is. now, hdd fan runs 1/2 throttle, shows 0 rpm on fan monitoring apps. have tried different sensor cable no change. odd fan seems working fine blowing on ssd, reason original hdd cooling system decided take crap somewhere. extended sensor wire , closed monitor while running. should there type of voltage on sensor cable when running can tell me? checked , there nothing. problem on mainboard? also, optical drive gone , small sd in there, there enough airflow possibly disconnect middle fan if it's uncontrollable, or there damage potential there?

My first few hours on Mac Mini 2014: pls help

Unable to connect to wifi - 10.6.8

my isp forced me buy 3.0 docsis modem, once installed had reset router well. mb pro connected newly setup network fine 30 min. stopped working after having configured network security. issue has nothing network security, allow me explain... when select neighbors locked network, click connect , guess @ password, computer returns "invalid password". when same on own network connected to, says "connection failed". tells me has storage of information network had connected since implementing desired settings network.
