Unsupported Mac or osx version


hi there, i'm new here please cut me slack :p
bought macbook 1,1 yesterday, upgraded ram maximum 2gb allocation , upgraded hard drive 500gb. before says "just upgrade" i'm pretty broke current option. updated 10.6.8 got myself setup, purpose of getting macbook music college use reason , logic, when went install logic pro x, told me osx version wasn't high enough, has been telling me multiple applications along "this mac no longer supported." tried update mavericks because isn't core 2 duo core duo. attempted use sfott change boot.efi install maverick on macbook, got folder flashing question mark inside when trying boot of usb. i'm trying ask is, there anyway of tricking macbook thinking it's core 2 duo or thinking it's @ higher osx version run applications need.

because machine not have 64-bit cpu, cannot run higher mac os 10.6.8 on it.
