upgrading late 2012 mini. i7 x 4 @ 230mhz, 16 gig ram, 1 terabite 5400 hd (everymac # i7-3615qm)
stock ram upgrade did.

have3 external hd's. fw800 2t time machine 815.05g open, fw400 250g 63.81g open (also has mavericks installed)
, 200g usb2 not space left (the complete law&order series).
going add ssd (120 or 240)? owc. data doubler kit , discounted parallels 10.

have many questions.
1. cold weather hurt dvd , ssd in transit?
2. deal? have been looking legal parallels 10 discounted.
3. think can physical installation of ssd
4. intimidated software stuff do. how transfer os yosemite , apps ssd including win 7 , parallels?
5. there trim enabler , yosemite deal?

have more questions stated i'm scatter brained.

lots of questions here , lots of answers on forum. when ran windows , mac on same 2012 mini used separate boot drives if 1 installation ran trouble other untouched. unless need run windows @ same time do.

Error installing Key Agent drivers in Windows 7

i reinstalled fresh bootcamp (windows 7 x64) on imac running yosemite. i'm having difficulty installing drivers, had first bypass issue x64bit drivers running through cmd admin errors "service 'key agent/mac hal' (keyagent/machaldrivers) failed start. verify have sufficient privileges start system services." have tried following instructions seemed answer this: i had exact same problem, on 17" mbp. in case, win7 event manager reported bootcamp 3.2 services failed install, in particular keyagent service (and without no apple keyboard , functions , apparently bootcamp icon doesn't show in system tray). event manager said bootcamp installer did not have sufficient permissions, went dial down user account control (uac) settings (in fact, turned off). should have seen when bootcamp 3.2 update running window ask permission continue (allow software install). instead, there silent failure. ok, turning off uac gives p
