Can I program Numbers to import stock data?


hi,

relatedly new macs please go easy on me.

need spreadsheet download share trading data (open/low/high/close/current) local stock exchange, australian asx.

before changed pc, used excel vba , use same spreadsheet via office mac 2011. prefer use numbers can use both ipad , mac via icloud.

aware there many ipad apps available download such data prefer numbers can format suit.

questions are:

1. can program numbers spreadsheet using applescript or similar result need?

2. run both on imac , ipad?

3. how access programming language?

don't know mac programming willing learn if give me thumbs or otherwise whether suitable achieve need. alternatively might know of spreadsheet in existence.

there no applescript support in ios.
when apple 'updated' mac iwork ios compatibility, gutted work suite's applescript dictionaries. much, not all, of functionality has returned on mac side. there's no sign, nor rumor of such, on ios side.
