Simple Checkbook Register Program?

i tired of using paper check registers tracking various bank accounts.

figured directly on mac using sort of software. software has icloud features , maybe iphone software companion.

looking @ mac app store, checkbook software programs have negative ratings. big problem handle 1 account , don't allow transferring other accounts. don't mean electronically through bank, 1 register other.

quicken might solution need. bit expensive, if handles multiple check registers , transferring 1 account other, need.

don't need interact bank directly. banks charge that.

suggestions on software? in advance, help.

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
