ios 8.1 beta 1 and os x yosemite gm candidate 1.0 SMS Forward problems

dunno if has been mentioned already.
i've got ios 8.1 beta 1 running on iphone 4s, , os x yosemite gm candidate 1.0 on late 2013 rmbp.

whenever go messages settings on phone , go sms forward thing, swipe green button mac on, asks passcode mac. can't see passcode on mac?

how did people it? or troubleshooting please?

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
