Help: Cannot adjust column widths in Yosemite Finder.

hi all, sorry if bit of simple question cannot figure out :-/ google has not helped either.

in finder wish view folders , files in "column view" i.e. view columns option in finder.

columns display left right rather narrow. unless folder names short(mine not) "shortened" full name cannot read.

wish manually "drag" or somehow change column widths display full name of each folder or file.

left hand pane documents, applications, desktop etc can width adjusted moving mouse pointer edge until little "double arrow" appears. not appear of actual columns.

appreciate :)

screenshot attached below, show narrow columns , shortened folder names.

please disregard.

noticed "handles" @ bottom of each column. can use these adjust! <slaps forehead>
