Users of NuevaSync: Notice increased battery drain?

a couple of weeks ago switched gmail app nuevasync service. around same time, noticed increased battery drain , usage time (i.e., phone's "usage" increase 10 minutes overnight, , after started using nuevasync went 30 minutes overnight--no other changes). after day @ work i'd have half battery remaining before started using nuevasync.

anyways, several weeks, didn't register nuevasync might problem, yesterday disabled it, , presto, battery life used be.

yes, placebo, i'm pretty sure nuevasync sucking down more battery gmail ios app.

else experience similar?
 

ive been running few days, , not noticed significant drain.

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
