Seeking how-to on displaying forced ("burned-in") subtitles on bluray rips

i've gathered equipment , preparing start ripping bluray collection hdd. going time consuming task , i'm seeking correct how-to on work flow getting subtitles used "burned in" image of movies, such english translation of klingon, automatically show on ripped movie files. i'll using makemkv , handbrake convert files apple tv (mp4/h.264/720p). i've ripped 1 film far test. haven't touched hb yet. thank in advance

i rip br discs in makemkv output .mkv file , select every english subtitle (forced , not) have info possible.

use handbrake convert .mvk .m4v file , use atv3 preset in handbrake.

here gets time consuming , frustrating. since have no idea (unless have seen movie) have play trial , error until figure out subtitle track correct one. example, while watching jack ryan: shadow recruit there scene russian being spoken , got nothing on screen. didn't select subtitles in handbrake didn't think there in movie. since save mkv files situation, figured out chapter scene should have subtitles. opened mkv in vlc , watched chapter selecting each subtitle 1 one until figured out subtitle track was. think in vlc 1 through n in handbrake labelled 0 through n figure out if it's subtitle 2 in vlc it's second 1 , in handbrake track 1. rip first forced , burned playing each 1 once complete in order figure out option need. have go , redo entire movie in handbrake. time consuming , pita.

said, if know movie has subtitles in advance makes process easier.

if there easier way, i'd love hear it. there isn't option in makemkv go. wish there was, understand why. many of movies label subtitles differently you'd think when wanting ones display when foreign language spoken in english speaking film.
