iPhone restore

buying iphone 6+ year first step smart phones. have questions how restores work.

having issues safari giving me errors , log full of apps crashing. keep seeing 1 potential solution clean restore. problem want keep app data of apps (i.e. couple games , messages). possible restore app data select apps when restoring without using backup? or starting totally scratch?

there 3rd part apps make happen?

if matters, have both mac , windows machine can restore from. use mac itunes though.

help.
 

you can use pc software itools backup app data select apps.
once install itools, connect iphone pc , go "apps" tab , check app want backup , click on "backup program , documents" backup whole app , data no need re-download once restored.

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
