AT&T said I have a full 28 days to return my phone to them

i ordered iphone 6 through apple's website. received phone 14 days ago, friday october 3rd. went apple store today return thinking within 14 day return policy , informed me deadline in fact yesterday, 3rd counts day 1 , today 15th day. said if macbook or imac able take no problem bc through at&t locked contract them , if apple returned still owe at&t $750. pretty mad since thought timing little deceiving, people think 14 days from day of receipt, how return policies work.

called at&t , informed me still had additional 14 days return phone them mail. true? if so, why didn't apple tell me this? still able applecare + refunded? how go doing that? thanks, sorry i'm confused.

short answer: you're screwed. whomever told you had more time misunderstood or lied. you'll owe at&t etf fee , cost of month's service. in exchange can sell phone , net out close even.

next time don't assume return periods. read fine print , make sure know reality before deadline.

sorry blunt there's no sugar coating given cited facts. clock starts @ 12:00am on day it's delivered in best case; they'll try claim day shipped short couple more days.

worth walking at&t corp store tomorrow , trying something; maybe have 30 day equipment exchange offering up, doesn't affect underlying contract , etf. think you're stuck there.
