HD6870 ROM Flashing worth it over HD5770?

i have hd5770 (dvi + 2 mdp) , working fine.

have xfx hd6870 being used in pc/hackintosh , thinking using card.

worth flashing rom?

i've been reading thread , can install card , work no boot screen also, see dvd player doesn't work. rom flashing fix issue? (i know see boot screen) worth spending $ flash , use on hd5770?

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
