iTunes Book Library Gone!

when got macbook last year, hated itune , ibooks separate used hack found rid of ibooks can manage books in itunes.

well, updated yosemite today , trick no longer works. in fact, had forgotten until had updated. well, i've removed ibooks, when go new , ugly itunes, can't find book tab.

also, seems entire book library gone. maybe i'm not quite ready face facts or i'm glad have time machine, shouldn't panicking or something?:d

checked itunes folder , books there. how them were?
 

you can't. itunes 12 no longer has ability. must use ibooks.

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
