iBooks showing nothing when returning to bookshelf

hi,

when return bookshelf after being reading book... nothing appears, gray window similar bookshelf, containing no books. bottom icon bar present, without icons.

closing , reopening app solution.

has experienced sort of bug?

My first few hours on Mac Mini 2014: pls help
