Apple to Shut Down Old TestFlight Beta Testing Website in February

apple today began notifying developers upcoming closure of old testflight beta testing service accessible through testflightapp.com, reports the next web. impending february 26 shutdown of standalone website arrives 1 year after apple's acquisition of testflight through purchase of burstly , subsequent integration of service itunes connect.

testflight on itunes connect , legacy website operated independent services on past year, enabling developers test significant changes apps. apple encourages testflightapp users export current testers can imported itunes connect version, , has posted document developers transition between services. new version of testflight available ios 8 , later.

as beta tester, there way opt-out of betas don't relate 1 signed for. there have been many times i've beta tested app, , later on developer gives me whole new thing at. don't mind testing version 2, 3, or 4 of something, don't when developers pretty "spam" me other products service.

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
