Yosemite and Sibelius 7.5

as updated yosemite, sibelius 7.5 (which had been working flawlessly past 6 months) took giant crap , began crashing on , on again. when initializing playback, when trying export pdfs, , because felt it.

uninstalled, zapped supporting files, redownloaded, reinstalled...not better.

wiped hard drive, did fresh install of osx , sibelius...not better.

downgraded mavericks via backup drive, , voila, fixed.

has else had similar issue? work large scores , files. use tons of instrument plugins via kontakt player 5, , admittedly high maintenance professional user. complete fail on levels.

@ point i'm staying on mavericks until hit lull in projects, willing reconsider move yosemite in future if can identify fix.

(also should mention i've perused forum, , avid forums, referenced avid support system no luck, why i'm throwing out ether).

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
