iphone 6 and macbook pro airdrop issue?

hi there,

have connected iphone 6 macbook pro (13 inch, mid 2012) via airdrop. i'm able transfer pictures fine. when tried transferring songs macbook pro iphone 6. (img_0497)

ok. go "get app" , see (img_0498)

don't understand? else have issue?

unfortunately, air drop not support transfer of music files. photos, videos, contacts, safari links, etc. supported. have jail broken , use app called anydrop transfer non approved file formats.

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
