the other day went twelve oaks mall meet friend dinner @ cheesecake factory. arrived went exploring. noticed microsoft "popup" kiosk in 1 of hallways. unlike apple store hundreds of customers gathered around tables containing ipads iphones various macbooks, 2 guys in red t-shirts @ microsoft kiosk seemed dying of boredom , couldn't control urge smirk. incredibly easy control temptation wander on , examine 1 of surface pro 3's or xboxes had on display. oh how mighty have fallen. there time when microsoft valuable company in world. in fact, adjusted inflation, apple still hasn't hit valuation microsoft once had. me there no doubt apple on upward trajectory while microsoft still trying figure out next.

clear, thread isn't intended shot across bow of ms fans out there. there lot said merits of surface 3, xbox, kinect, office 365 , other ms products. i'm sharing anecdotal evidence observed 1 day @ local mall struck chord me because i'm happy apple gear.

Error installing Key Agent drivers in Windows 7

i reinstalled fresh bootcamp (windows 7 x64) on imac running yosemite. i'm having difficulty installing drivers, had first bypass issue x64bit drivers running through cmd admin errors "service 'key agent/mac hal' (keyagent/machaldrivers) failed start. verify have sufficient privileges start system services." have tried following instructions seemed answer this: i had exact same problem, on 17" mbp. in case, win7 event manager reported bootcamp 3.2 services failed install, in particular keyagent service (and without no apple keyboard , functions , apparently bootcamp icon doesn't show in system tray). event manager said bootcamp installer did not have sufficient permissions, went dial down user account control (uac) settings (in fact, turned off). should have seen when bootcamp 3.2 update running window ask permission continue (allow software install). instead, there silent failure. ok, turning off uac gives p
