Triple Booting on my 2013 MBA replacing Mavericks with Yosemite

i have 2013 13" mba triple booted mavericks, windows 7 , ubuntu on using 3 partitions, bootcamp, grub , refind.which been working great while.

when yosemite released tried upgrade mavericks wouldn't work , needed run refind after failed windows , ubuntu back.

there anyway can replace mavericks yosemite on mba , keep current windows , ubuntu installations intact?

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
