Configuration VPN ppp0

i have vpn-access network. use vpn access 10.3/17 , use external access. working on linux os. routing:

can't configure vpn on mac. if external access working vpn not, , if vpn working external not.
please me.
routing when vpn connected:

option "all traffic through vpn" disabled.

please tel how must routing working vpn && external access.

i added routing on linux:
address 10.3.0.0
netmask 255.255.128.0
gw 10.3.100.40

how must in mac don't know.
 

sudo route add 10.3.0.0/17 10.3.100.40

heads up, when talking network stuff, refer mac or osx , "mac" , not "mac" "mac" has specific meaning in context.

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
