CD/DVD sharing not working

hello,

trying dvd sharing work won't show up.

firstly enabled in system preferences>sharing. said blocked firewall despite being on accept list , allow signed apps box ticked.
disabled firewall , turns on (green light) in system preferences.

still won't show drive in finder. using ethernet cable directly between imac , macbook, both running snow leopard 10.6.8
can screen sharing work not optical drive sharing.
have read page did not provide solutions.

on side note notice says copy protected discs can't shared seems ridiculous! true? in near future plan on using dvd sharing watch movie on imac not have disc drive, hence using macbook disc drive.

Error installing Key Agent drivers in Windows 7

i reinstalled fresh bootcamp (windows 7 x64) on imac running yosemite. i'm having difficulty installing drivers, had first bypass issue x64bit drivers running through cmd admin errors "service 'key agent/mac hal' (keyagent/machaldrivers) failed start. verify have sufficient privileges start system services." have tried following instructions seemed answer this: i had exact same problem, on 17" mbp. in case, win7 event manager reported bootcamp 3.2 services failed install, in particular keyagent service (and without no apple keyboard , functions , apparently bootcamp icon doesn't show in system tray). event manager said bootcamp installer did not have sufficient permissions, went dial down user account control (uac) settings (in fact, turned off). should have seen when bootcamp 3.2 update running window ask permission continue (allow software install). instead, there silent failure. ok, turning off uac give...

Unable to connect to wifi - 10.6.8

my isp forced me buy 3.0 docsis modem, once installed had reset router well. mb pro connected newly setup network fine 30 min. stopped working after having configured network security. issue has nothing network security, allow me explain... when select neighbors locked network, click connect , guess @ password, computer returns "invalid password". when same on own network connected to, says "connection failed". tells me has storage of information network had connected since implementing desired settings network.
