Build a Hackintosh or keep my new Mac Mini i7?

hey guys,

jumped gun quick, before reviews, , bought maxed out mac mini i7 , 16 gb of ram "study room" computer 2 1080p monitors. won't doing on beyond internet browsing, writing papers, stuff that. have custom-built pc downstairs gaming. reason went i7 , max available ram try , "future proof" best could. in reading many of negative reviews, , negative comments here considering returning , building out hackintosh similar specs quad core i7 instead.

idea or should stick have?

oh, , should mention have 2 monitors, mouse , keyboard, etc.

what plan on doing computer?

general computing, internet, music, holding pictures, media, etc? if keep it.

lots of ripping/converting/editing media, playing graphically demanding games, , or other cpu/gpu intensive tasks? build hack or used 2009-2012 mac pro.

i'm not saying i'm huge fan of 2014 mini, if computer needs 90% of actual computer buyers, 2014 mini fine.

if in 10% of "power users" (1% actual geeky power users , 9% tech enthusiasts along ride) elsewhere.
