Bluetooth headphones not working with Mac

i've acquired pair of psyc bluetooth headphones work on every device in house except imac 27", mac book pro , mac book pro retina. old house brick, none smart phone hooks them , plays beautifully, whilst macs sit quietly in corner churning away , looking bluetooth devices cannot find.
have go apple store , buy else make them compatible ? or transfer music old windows pc dinosaur, can listen music on headphones ?:(

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
