Contacts Not Syncing on Devices/Comp

hi,

first time posting here. read through several threads hours morning trying find answer here, have managed run in circles.

problem contacts on iphone 5s fine , complete, ones on ipad 2 , mac (running yosemite beta) stuck if stopped adding contacts 3 years ago. didn't bother me because wasn't using ipad or mac of that, want , can't.

turns out newer iphone contacts somehow listed under called exchange??? know how/why happen? read morning, seems connected company accounts (not applicable) or outlook, don't use.

question is, how fix this? tried adding exchange ipad. worked still more recent contacts (from last 6 months or so) won't add @ ipad though syncing on. can't add exchange mac @ all, error msgs abound though copied exact same info used try add ipad!

basically, want contacts out of stupid exchange whatever , them onto icloud. i've read posts saying can done via called vcards , importing/exporting not find detailed step-by-step instructions, need! desperately!

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
