Can't compress files, blank finder dialog window

something odd starting happening late 2013 mac pro running 10.10.1. i'm getting blank dialog window when trying compress files. have force restart finder in order rid of dialog box/finder window. (see below)

what's stranger files native mac pro's ssd zip fine if copy , paste folder owc thunderbay 4 dialog again. i've opened file external drive, saved new file mac pro , presto blank dialog box again. i'm baffled.

Error installing Key Agent drivers in Windows 7

i reinstalled fresh bootcamp (windows 7 x64) on imac running yosemite. i'm having difficulty installing drivers, had first bypass issue x64bit drivers running through cmd admin errors "service 'key agent/mac hal' (keyagent/machaldrivers) failed start. verify have sufficient privileges start system services." have tried following instructions seemed answer this: i had exact same problem, on 17" mbp. in case, win7 event manager reported bootcamp 3.2 services failed install, in particular keyagent service (and without no apple keyboard , functions , apparently bootcamp icon doesn't show in system tray). event manager said bootcamp installer did not have sufficient permissions, went dial down user account control (uac) settings (in fact, turned off). should have seen when bootcamp 3.2 update running window ask permission continue (allow software install). instead, there silent failure. ok, turning off uac gives p
