4k / 5k and Lightroom

hi everyone,

haven't seen addressing this, thought post. i'm interested in:

1. minimum number of images per row in grid mode (without panels). 30" 2560 x 1600 shows 4). how many getting 4k or 5k monitor?

2. adjustments or previews take longer in experience, ie added real screen real-estate give hit performance when displaying / adjusting images?

cheers

edited: originally, had written maximum, instead of minimum ... sorry thore!

hello,

1
aware of little slider in bottom-right of grid-view changes size of preview images?
in smallest settings, without menues , on 4k lightroom 5.6 displays 37 images horizontally.

2
can change size of preview images. standard size not fill screen if remember correctly. thus, either display little blurry or render new preview on fly leads lag ("loading data" running circle in bottom-centre of preview image)
case 2560x1440 believe because standard preview size somewhere around 2k.
can change in catalogue settings. if have large enough previews browsing , forth instant. without, every image takes few seconds load.

cannot give info general performance time unfortunately. display running @ 30hz see looks have 4k until new graphics card arrives. feels laggy ;-)

cheers
