MP4,1 upgraded to 5,1 running for 7 months and now panics
last june upgraded 8-core 2.93 ghz mp4,1 12-core 3.33 ghz 2x x5680 mp5,1. went @ time. has been running latest mavericks os since june 2014.
in addition adding/installing 2x hex core x5680s following items installed
1) owc mercury accelsior pcie r0 480gb boot volume
2) 64gb pc10600 (8gbx8) macpro ddr3 ecc (1333 mhz)
3) 2x 240gb owc mercury electra 3g ssd 7mm in bays 1 & 2 fast cache
4) k5000 mac
geekbench 3 (64-bit) scores mp4,1 were
before upgrade
single core = 2347
multi core = 18427 (8 cores @ 2.93 ghz)
geekbench 3 (64-bit) scores mp5,1 were
after upgrade
single = 2714
multi core = 30745 (12 cores @ 3.33 ghz)
ran i/o tests pcie 480gb ssd , recorded 680 mb/s
ran i/o tests 3g raid-0 240gb ssds , recorded 520 mb/s
2 days (jan 15, 2015) ago upgraded mp started panic... see attached picture example.
machine froze up, crashed restarted on , on (for 30 minutes) , kept getting these kernel panics. number @ beginning kept changing each time crashed (cpu 12 caller, cpu 8 caller, etc). won't boot past panic screen.
tried reseting nvram pram, safe boot, , pulled out memory , third party peripherals out, cleaned out, reseated everything, , left unplugged monitor , keyboard/mouse. tried having few sticks of ram rather 8. nothing made difference.
given panics have been indicating cpu 12, cpu 8, etc i'm thinking maybe cpu b @ fault on assumption cpus 7 through 12 core numbers , signifies cpu b.
x5680s purchased itcreations in ca. i've contacted them , willing work me on free x5680 replacement if indeed can determine if issue 1 of x5680s. advised move cpu b cpu position , test system running cpu see if presumed cpu b @ fault.
i'm looking advice others here. looking @ attached picture determine cause might panics ?
i'm assuming issue related 1 or both of processors , additional components added (ram, ssds, k5000) have nothing issue.
feedback and/or insights this.

of course cpu b may problem.
however, software issue may give same error. due core process problematic code randomly assign every time, that's why see different number.
if see kp few more times, , times core belongs cpu a, both cpu still ok, , error else.
when try install fakesmc on 4,1 (flashed 5,1), can same kp during boot. , guess last numbers (after word "nanoseconds") change every few seconds, right?
anyway, apart pram reset, did try smc reset , permission fix yet?
, sorry, know very little kp, can't tell what's wrong screen capture.
