i purchased mophie gold battery case iphone 5s supposed recharge 5s @ 100% once deplete battery charge 5s @ 0%. 1 purchased sold $99.99. mophie case $79.99 charges @ 80%.
months ago, purchased 1 @ best buy , charged @ 60%, returned it. because case, repurchased exact same case @ nordstrom couple weeks ago. recharge 5s @ 62% when deplete 0-1%. obviously, there's consistency of 60% charge both cases.
think i'm losing 40% charge these battery cases because takes me 3-4 days utilize charge after deplete charge 5s? i'm not huge data user, therefore can go without charging 5s 3-4 days.
the 1 charges 100% not charge 100% because last 20% (when phone @ 80 , needs charge 100%) uses more power so. why mophie says in instructions change 80% , shut off battery. way still have power battery in case need again.
battey case says charge 80% (the cheaper battery case) 50-60% in real world before dies.
don't want charge phone when kill it, turn case on when phone @ 20%-30%
