Installing OS X 10.5 from USB

hello everybody.
got hands on mac pro 3.1 , love it.
trying reinstall original osx on computer but
no luck.
have made bootable usb tiger on it.
no matter key press, option, shift, etc no responce.
have tried original discs......same there.

missing??:(

the "original" disc in 1 came mp (and not other mac)? it's typically critical "original" disc matches mac you're installing on. if it's "retail" copy, shouldn't matter.

here's install guide leopard cribbed web:
  1. start mac while holding down option key.
  2. your mac display startup manager, , list of icons represent of bootable devices available mac.
  3. insert leopard install dvd slot-loading dvd drive, or press eject key , insert leopard install dvd tray-loading drive.
  4. after few moments, install dvd should show 1 of bootable icons. if doesn’t, click reload icon (a circular arrow) that’s available on mac models, or restart mac.
  5. once leopard install dvd icon displays, click restart mac , boot installation dvd.

if doesn't work, don't know else suggest.
