How is reading on a Note 3 / G3?

hi,

i'd general opinions here reading on phablets?

how comfortable sit down read hour or two? prefer smaller tablet it?

read on ipad mini, 1-2 hours every night before bed; keep going ipad?

going ipad solely battery life, rather form factor?
 

g3 bad because of software oversharpening. saw picture posted on internet of ebook on , text atrocious looking, sharpening made letters thin , wirey, not @ all. note 3 note 4 better. don't think better ipad mini or 9.7" ipad.

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
