Mail issues (deeply frustrated)

hi guys,

want fix issue once , not sure should do.

host emails family domain office 365, know mail.app little sluggish in syncing on ews, hence considering moving imap provider (like fastmail - whom used before), imap works better on mail.app because of idle enabled.

however, main issue seems can't have push on ios devices (using imap), , don't want fetch every 15 minutes drain battery. don't need activesync/exchange icloud can handle contacts, calendars, notes, reminders etc, use exchange mail only. hate fact eas doesn't sync drafts too, (imap does) apart icloud / yahoo on ios (eas accounts) seem push options available.

maybe can stick out exchange time being, should imap idle becoming ios devices soon? suggestions? i'm @ wits end. tried rackspace out haven't got xlist enabled , it's on bug list not urgent. (that's ok - can map sent, drafts, trash etc on mail.app). tried enable mobile sync costs $1 month gives activesync syncing painfully slow potentially because have 2 platforms enabled. also, subfolders subset of inbox on activesync devices , can't changed.
