rMBP takes forever to connect to wifi on start up

only on start up, though.


i've tried deleting old networks, making sure wifi @ top of list, still have wait 30 secs before can go online.

i'm running latest 10.10.2 public beta, because hoping might fix it. it's been happening since 10.10.0.


, beachballs when there's confirmation dialogue (since pre release 10.10), don't know what's going on os x these days.

right in time whole new release come out , starts again...


2 year cycle, anyone?
 

have tried connecting network? maybe go coffee shop connect there network restart , see if computer picks quickly. i'm running 10.10.2 0 issues. instant connection on rmbp, same mac mini

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
