New Imac (1 month old) - issues shutting down

but has had problems shutting down. when given command either shut down or restart, goes black screen cursor still showing, stays there, black screen still 'lid' lightly.

tips?

27inch, late 13,
3,5ghz i7, 16gig ram
10.10.1
 

it's os x problem. macs ever since mavericks have thing. due sandboxing. doesn't bother me though.

Error installing Key Agent drivers in Windows 7

i reinstalled fresh bootcamp (windows 7 x64) on imac running yosemite. i'm having difficulty installing drivers, had first bypass issue x64bit drivers running through cmd admin errors "service 'key agent/mac hal' (keyagent/machaldrivers) failed start. verify have sufficient privileges start system services." have tried following instructions seemed answer this: i had exact same problem, on 17" mbp. in case, win7 event manager reported bootcamp 3.2 services failed install, in particular keyagent service (and without no apple keyboard , functions , apparently bootcamp icon doesn't show in system tray). event manager said bootcamp installer did not have sufficient permissions, went dial down user account control (uac) settings (in fact, turned off). should have seen when bootcamp 3.2 update running window ask permission continue (allow software install). instead, there silent failure. ok, turning off uac gives p
