Had a phenomenal Genius Bar experience (what??!!??) over iPhone 6 screen

took umpteenth iphone 6 in bright white spot in middle of screen down right (many of 6's have had different issues, later, don't want type more need to)

annoying. other 1 had hot dead pixel (not fixable), white pixel see @ off angles, , touch id stopped working screen nice though , replacements i've had in between haven't been par in terms of screen.

genius replaced it, compared iphone 6's, observed noticeably brighter @ max brightness , had genius confirm. sent , got 1 out, looked identical previous, dimmer , sorta yellow/cast of something. compared employees phones in , saw way worse 2 replacements took out of box , declared not right. none of employees noticed because main , screen they've been staring at. or don't care. or something!

third said i'd have sort of deal not angrily, bummer man but.. (but didn't push ever, 1 observed brightness when wasn't key concern , kept swapping that, it) if same cause of variation. luckily, reminds me of 1 had great, dead pixels aside (obvious next lock screen too, lit up) , touch id not working. said preferred mine his, , tended agree, bit on pink hue side though not bad.

anyways long story short, beast bright! rocking low brightness , doing fine. it's going fantastic battery.

, shame on continuing pull display crap. maybe i'll ride iphone 6 til can't more re-evaluate options.

display imperative imo

glad got rmini right away deemed fine enough without swaps, , color profiles (jailbroken) looks great upgraded ipad3 rmini jailbreak came out, had out of box tweaking made possible cool off tint little.

iphone 5 looks dingy compared 6. sad when replacements looked dingy compared 5, , wasn't creme de la creme of screens, craigslist 1 acquired after selling iphone 5 last fall , doing nexus 5 thing bit.

tl;dr lots of crappy screens always, screen lottery, think might have won time (you lose if waste time , don't results) i'm getting close being done practice together. ruins enjoyment/experience almost, , situations, does.

also, geniuses out there level headed. if aren't jerk, of them catalyst seeing results.

couldn't happier level of service got today, whether or not replacement go. sure hell hope .
