the base imac retina 5k display available 3.5 ghz quad-core intel i5 processor, amd radeon r9 m290x graphics processor, 8gb of ram, , 1tb fusion drive starting @ $2,499 shipping beginning today. new retina imac models can upgraded 4.0 ghz quad-core intel core i7 processor , amd radeon r9 m295x graphics processor. retina imac models come standard 2 thunderbolt 2 ports.

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
