cpu 2-3x faster 2010 according geek bench. 650m gpu 3x faster.. ~1100 vs. ~300 330m gt. value still 1/3 of gtx 660 mid end card. - usb 3.0, bt 4.0 , jazz - 16gb ram limit vs. 8 gb
im not fan of rmbps because pretty glued , work dual 25" displays attached macbook anyways. plus upgrade later on. ssd nice i've been using ssds on 1 anyways not mention kinda ssd + 1 tb hd setup.
im finding current 1 lags every often. it's not end of world but...even light gaming (diablo3) kinda pitiful @ 1080p. worth it? or should go rmbp in year or two. has done similar? how improvement there? appreciated. thanks!!
i upgraded mid 2010 mbp late 2013 rmbp. did because graphics card failing , ran out of warranty. otherwise, i'd kept it. faster, lot. fact can throw @ , it'll run @ speed. faster 2008 mac pro 8 cores.

i reinstalled fresh bootcamp (windows 7 x64) on imac running yosemite. i'm having difficulty installing drivers, had first bypass issue x64bit drivers running through cmd admin errors "service 'key agent/mac hal' (keyagent/machaldrivers) failed start. verify have sufficient privileges start system services." have tried following instructions seemed answer this: i had exact same problem, on 17" mbp. in case, win7 event manager reported bootcamp 3.2 services failed install, in particular keyagent service (and without no apple keyboard , functions , apparently bootcamp icon doesn't show in system tray). event manager said bootcamp installer did not have sufficient permissions, went dial down user account control (uac) settings (in fact, turned off). should have seen when bootcamp 3.2 update running window ask permission continue (allow software install). instead, there silent failure. ok, turning off uac gives p
