Canada Investigating Apple Over Accusations of Anti-Competitive Carrier Contracts [Updated]

canada's competition bureau confirmed on thursday investigating apple's contracts wireless carriers determine whether violate country's anti-trust laws, reports cnet. investigation in stages, bureau filing court order compel apple supply documents assist investigation.

apple being accused of including clauses in contracts wireless carriers hinder competition. no official charges have been filed against apple, , bureau has yet find evidence supporting initial anti-competitive allegations raised unnamed sources.
if competition bureau finds evidence apple violated canada's competition act, cupertino company asked change practices or face sanctions competition tribunal. in past several years, apple has faced similar anti-trust allegations on iphone distribution terms both the european commission , france's dgccr.

update: on january 6, 2017, canada's competition bureau said "did not find evidence suggest apple terms resulted in significant effect on competition," reported reuters.

Error installing Key Agent drivers in Windows 7

i reinstalled fresh bootcamp (windows 7 x64) on imac running yosemite. i'm having difficulty installing drivers, had first bypass issue x64bit drivers running through cmd admin errors "service 'key agent/mac hal' (keyagent/machaldrivers) failed start. verify have sufficient privileges start system services." have tried following instructions seemed answer this: i had exact same problem, on 17" mbp. in case, win7 event manager reported bootcamp 3.2 services failed install, in particular keyagent service (and without no apple keyboard , functions , apparently bootcamp icon doesn't show in system tray). event manager said bootcamp installer did not have sufficient permissions, went dial down user account control (uac) settings (in fact, turned off). should have seen when bootcamp 3.2 update running window ask permission continue (allow software install). instead, there silent failure. ok, turning off uac gives p
