Burnt MagSafe pin, not charging

hi,

have 2011 15' mbp original charger. working fine until stopped charging. tried different outlets , rotating magsafe connector there no led or charging.

saw connection between magsafe mbp , there burn pin didn't go original position. also, same place burnt on socket side. mac not charge @ all.

have few questions:
have caused faliure? cable bit frayed , fixed tape.
possible faliure caused magsafe section inside mac? means i'll have buy replacement , charger.
safe use spare 60w charger instead or burn? know charge when it's off. @ least make copy of important files work on computer meanwhile.

mac kept running after realized @ least logic board not dead (phew!)

advice! it's working mac, need running possible!!

 

looks magsafe connector on mbp shot , believe soldered onto logic board way repair this, replace logic board.

cause, have no idea, short and/or higher voltage designed cause i'm not sure honest.
