Multi user iMac, FW drive only for me

i have imac mid 2011 2.7ghz running yosemite.

3 user accts, 1 admin, 2 other kids.

have few external hard drives holding photos, movies, music.

1 hard drive (
wd 2tb book studio edition ii quad interface external hard drive) drive asking questions about.

have connected via fw800 , drive using fw.

drive has power switch still turns on when logs onto imac. (it's not "old school" rocker power switch.. newer type of button)

when use imac, have access drive... , allow drive power up, mount, spin , function.

when kids come home after school , power imac, not want said drive power up, mount ..... want remain off, dormant.

possibility?
 

if prefer have fw drive available use, unplug when don't need it. unmount (eject) drive, either disconnect data cable, or power connection drive - ever more convenient you.

Error installing Key Agent drivers in Windows 7

i reinstalled fresh bootcamp (windows 7 x64) on imac running yosemite. i'm having difficulty installing drivers, had first bypass issue x64bit drivers running through cmd admin errors "service 'key agent/mac hal' (keyagent/machaldrivers) failed start. verify have sufficient privileges start system services." have tried following instructions seemed answer this: i had exact same problem, on 17" mbp. in case, win7 event manager reported bootcamp 3.2 services failed install, in particular keyagent service (and without no apple keyboard , functions , apparently bootcamp icon doesn't show in system tray). event manager said bootcamp installer did not have sufficient permissions, went dial down user account control (uac) settings (in fact, turned off). should have seen when bootcamp 3.2 update running window ask permission continue (allow software install). instead, there silent failure. ok, turning off uac gives p
