iPhone 6 odd quality in pictures put on MacBook Pro

ok, have iphone 6 running 8.1 ios. have noticed photos super blurry. took ton of photos @ event , when put them on computer looked crap. hobby photographer , consider myself meticulous in making sure photos crystal clear. i've noticed don't 5s photos used look. here's question though...

me or pictures looking great on phone , mucking transfered computer?! have problems tintype app (from hipstamatic)- when use , puts "tin type" flare on photo, i'll transfer , change plain color photo. (i have new macbook pro i'm putting them on, in iphoto)

New 2014 Mac Mini as living room media unit... general questions :)

hi everyone, relatively new apple world (came on android/windows) can impressed , happy made switch hoping insight experts here new setup. got new 2014 mini our living room media unit (will playing music, netflix, movies, internet browsing etc) - havent hooked yet. have 2 bookshelf speakers, 1 sub woofer, , center speaker sound setup goes avr, , of course flat screen tv. 1) question -- mini support 2.1 sound via hdmi avr? losing audio quality or audio features using mac mini? 2) internet browsing, there app or interface make ui better fit living room tv? i've read font/icons can hard read if enlarge them because mac mini not meant big tv? 3) plan plex server , plex media player mac mini, other loading movie/tv collection , playing off tv, there else cool missing here can this? 4) if have mac mini media unit, there purpose in owning roku @ point? thank you!!   ...
